Stotfold Mini Band competition

Sunday 9th April saw the band enter the London & South England Branch mini band competition. The day gained a good turnout from many of the branch bands.

SPB were placed 3rd in Grade 4, fighting off some stiff competition from the other bands. The drum section played extremely well under the new leadership of Stephen Sharpe.

Colchester Outdoor Band Competition

On Sunday 4th June SPB entered the Colchester band competition. This event has grown to become a fabulous day out for both competitors and spectators alike. The band entered Grade 4 and played very well. Our very own bass drummer, Avril Mason, beat off all comers to be awarded the "Best Bass" trophy...
